Senior Auditor - Audit Financial Services 100% (w/m/d)

Grant Thornton, a worldwide network of independent audit, tax and consulting firms with more than 80,000 staff across 150 nations, is expanding its Geneva office. The vacancy is for a Senior Auditor focused on financial‑services engagements, responsible for reviewing both standalone and group financial statements. In this position you will lead the planning and execution of audit missions, verify compliance with applicable regulations, and evaluate clients’ business and control environments. You will build and sustain effective relationships with client contacts, gauge their satisfaction, and act as a primary liaison for the audit team. Coaching of junior colleagues, participation in cross‑disciplinary projects, and contribution to internal strategic initiatives also form part of the daily workload. Applicants should hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, finance or business administration with a strong finance emphasis, and possess two to three years of external‑audit experience, preferably gained at a Big‑4 or similar firm. Familiarity with Swiss audit standards, financial‑statement preparation under Swiss law, and regulatory requirements is essential. A methodical, dependable, and analytical approach is required, together with a desire to pursue further professional qualification such as the Swiss CPA.
