Top Open German Scholarships 2026–2027: Key Points, Eligibility & Links

The opening offers fully funded study places in Germany, where applicants can tap into a range of zero‑cost scholarship schemes. Options include the DAAD Master’s and PhD awards, the university‑based Deutschlandstipendium, and the Friedrich Ebert Foundation grant, each providing a monthly stipend that varies from a few hundred euros up to roughly fourteen hundred, together with health and liability insurance and travel support, while still allowing part‑time work. Prospective scholars must demonstrate an outstanding academic record, satisfy English language standards of IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL 90, and, for candidates from India, hold a valid APS certificate. German‑language awards additionally require at least B1/B2 proficiency. The programmes value civic involvement and, for the foundation grant, a commitment to social‑democratic ideals. Application windows close between August and October 2026,
