The Senior Manager Life Insurance - Actuarial Services, Audit & Assurance role at Deloitte involves leading and developing actuarial projects, particularly in life and health insurance. This role involves managing the entire project lifecycle, from proposals and contracting to delivery and invoicing. Additionally, the position requires identifying business opportunities, generating new business, and participating in thought leadership initiatives. The role also encompasses all aspects of the employee lifecycle, from recruitment and training to performance reviews and promotions. To qualify, candidates must hold a university degree in actuarial science, mathematics, physics, economics, or a similar quantitative field. They should be a qualified actuary with the "Actuary SAA" certification or equivalent. Experience in an actuarial position, preferably in consulting within the Swiss market, is essential. Strong analytical and communication skills, along with a willingness to learn and make a difference, are crucial. Fluency in German and English, including Swiss German, is required for communicating with various stakeholders. Nice-to-have skills include a proven track record in business development and an affinity for technology, such as actuarial modeling tools, AI platforms, and data platforms.
