FX/Execution Trader

Swissquote, Switzerland's leading digital bank with more than 1,500 employees across Europe, the Middle East and Asia, is looking for an FX/Execution Trader. In the Execution Team you will be the front‑line operator for spot, forward and options orders across FX, precious metals, commodity futures, index futures and stock CFDs. Your day will involve quoting prices, executing client trades, monitoring electronic pricing and trade flow, and securing liquidity from providers. You will also manage the bank's positions with prime brokers, work with treasury to improve financing, and collaborate with risk, sales, IT and project teams to enhance service quality and profitability. Keeping an eye on market news, identifying risks and opportunities, and supporting neighbouring departments in trade booking are also part of the routine, as is reporting on execution statistics, liquidity and risk metrics. The role requires a university degree in a STEM discipline or economics, a results‑oriented and reliable attitude, and the ability to work well within a team. You must have a solid grasp of the FX market's micro‑structure and its liquidity network, be fluent in English, and be able to follow a rotating shift schedule that covers the department's 24/5 on‑site presence. Experience in FX spot trading is considered a strong plus, as is familiarity with trading‑system architecture and API connectivity.
