Group Statutory Reporting Supervisor

The position of Group Statutory Reporting Supervisor is based in Vevey, Switzerland, within Nestlé’s finance organisation. It is a permanent, full‑time role that operates from the office with the possibility of hybrid work. The job focuses on a specific set of entities, overseeing their month‑end close, statutory filings and other accounting duties while protecting the integrity of the balance sheet and upholding local accounting policies. Each day you will coordinate the month‑end close across a network that includes Shared Services Centres, guaranteeing that financial statements are accurate and delivered on schedule. You will serve as the main liaison for finance partners such as CFOs, business controllers, group consolidation teams and external auditors, ensuring that Nestlé’s guidelines and Swiss accounting rules are applied consistently. The role also involves producing statutory reports that meet Swiss regulations, managing equity reconciliations, and driving process improvements together with shared‑service functions. Acting as a specialist on IFRS, the Swiss Code of Obligations and Swiss GAAP FER, you will support the wider finance community in strengthening controls and service quality. The ideal candidate brings a solid finance or accounting background complemented by a chartered accountant qualification, with a Swiss‑specific credential like a Swiss CPA viewed as a strong plus. Experience should include audit or tax work at a Big 4 firm or in a multinational corporate setting, as well as extensive in‑house statutory accounting experience and a record of delivering finance projects. Strong communication skills for interacting with senior management and auditors, sharp analytical abilities, and advanced Excel expertise are required; familiarity with SAP and CFiN is advantageous.
