Senior Regional Merchandiser – SOREL Europe

The Senior Regional Merchandiser for Sorel Europe will join Columbia Sportswear’s European hub in Geneva, reporting to the Sorel Business Director. The position is permanent, operates in a hybrid model with two days of remote work each week, and supports the company’s mission to deliver outdoor apparel and footwear across the continent through both physical stores and digital channels. In this role you will create and run the merchandising function for the Sorel brand throughout Europe. Core duties include designing seasonal assortments that match business goals and consumer insights, setting the size and mix of collections by category and gender, and streamlining the current product range to suit each sales channel. You will keep product data accurate, manage regional pricing, monitor profitability, and spot market gaps through consumer and competitor analysis. Acting as the European voice in global product discussions, you will influence product decisions, steer the regional Go‑to‑Market calendar, coordinate planning, sales, e‑commerce, buying and finance teams, and ensure all milestones are met. Additional tasks involve supporting sales presentations, serving as the product specialist for internal teams, and overseeing the Geneva Sorel showroom.
