Mental Health Expert (AI Evaluation)

Gramian Consultancy is a boutique firm that provides IT professional services and engineering talent solutions. They are looking for a Mental Health Expert to support the evaluation and improvement of AI systems that generate psychological and mental‑health content. In this remote contractor role you will review AI‑generated material for clinical accuracy, relevance, ethical quality, cultural sensitivity and linguistic appropriateness. Your day‑to‑day tasks include assessing case studies, therapeutic dialogues, research scenarios and related content, spotting factual, clinical, ethical or cultural issues, and delivering clear written feedback and recommendations. You will also help develop and refine the datasets used for AI training, flag potential bias or harmful assumptions, and apply evidence‑based psychological or psychiatric frameworks. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and contribution to documentation and quality guidelines are part of the workflow. The position requires a completed PhD in Psychology or an MD with a completed psychiatry residency. Candidates must be native speakers of at least one of the following languages: French, Malay, Russian, Mandarin, Japanese, Urdu, Swahili, Bulgarian, Tagalog, Polish, Marathi, Lithuanian, Georgian, Bengali, Vietnamese or Indonesian, and possess advanced professional proficiency in English. Prior experience in clinical practice, psychological research, psychiatry or higher education is essential. Strong analytical, detail‑oriented review skills and the ability to explain complex mental‑health concepts clearly in writing are also required, together with a solid awareness of ethical and cultural considerations in mental health. No previous AI experience is needed, and the role is fully remote, offering flexibility while working on cutting‑edge AI evaluation tasks within a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.
