Product Manager

The role is for a Product Manager within the Global Services Business Unit (GSE) at VAT Group, a leading supplier of high-performance vacuum valves. The main day-to-day responsibilities include supporting the sales and service organization in technical, commercial, and operational aspects. The Product Manager will develop service product and customer strategies based on market and competitive intelligence. They will also derive business plans from the growth strategy, direct market introduction plans, and manage sales and profitability targets for dedicated product families and key accounts. Additionally, the role involves identifying customer technical roadmaps and driving corresponding product development, including spare parts, repair programs, upgrades, and retrofits. To qualify for this role, candidates must have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in sciences or engineering, or an equivalent education. An additional degree in economics and/or marketing or a successful record in a commercial position is also required. Experience in product management within a high-tech international environment, preferably in the vacuum industry or critical component B2B business, is essential. Fluency in business English, both written and spoken, is a must. Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and the ability to build customer trust and loyalty are crucial. Candidates should also be able to provide fact-driven solutions and translate market requirements into growth strategies with related execution plans. Nice-to-have skills include strong interpersonal, time management, analytical, and communication skills.
