German speaking Fraud Investigator roles in Bulgaria - relocation package

Mercier Consultancy is seeking a German‑speaking Fraud Investigator to join its team in Bulgaria. The company focuses on safeguarding a leading digital platform, ensuring that customers and businesses enjoy a secure environment for financial transactions. In this position you will examine alerts that signal possible fraud, concentrating on the most urgent and high‑risk cases. Your daily work involves scrutinising account activity, transaction histories and user behaviour to spot irregular patterns, determining whether an incident stems from a simple error or a deliberate attempt such as account takeover or identity theft. Findings must be recorded clearly to satisfy internal and regulatory requirements, and complex matters are escalated to senior investigators. You will also contribute to team targets related to response speed, productivity and investigation quality. The role requires a solid grasp of common fraud schemes, including account takeover, identity theft and true‑party fraud, as well as strong analytical abilities to detect unusual activity. Fluency in written and spoken German and a good command of English are essential, together with meticulous attention to detail, natural curiosity and the capacity to stay organised in a fast‑paced, high‑volume setting. Mercier offers fully paid training, a stable career path, an attractive salary and additional health insurance among more than fifty selectable benefits. Employees enjoy a positive international atmosphere, team‑building activities and referral bonuses. Living in Bulgaria provides an affordable, high‑quality lifestyle with modern amenities, vibrant cities such as Sofia, coastal towns on the Black Sea, and easy access to mountains, beaches and nearby European destinations.
