Business Management Specialist, DACH business (100%)

Vontobel Asset Management, a Zurich‑based investment firm with more than 2,300 professionals worldwide, is looking for a Business Management Specialist to support the Regional Sales Head for the DACH market. The position sits at the crossroads of strategy, coordination and client‑focused execution, offering a chance to influence the region’s growth while working closely with senior leadership. In this role you will help shape and implement the DACH strategic agenda, align business plans and key performance indicators with corporate goals, and conduct market and competitor research to uncover opportunities. You will prepare polished presentations and management reports for senior audiences, manage daily operational tasks for the sales head, organise meeting agendas, track actions and coordinate communication across functions. Leading cross‑regional projects, you will ensure timely delivery, foster relationships with sales, product, marketing, compliance and operations teams, and support sales enablement through CRM oversight and pipeline monitoring. Additionally, you will safeguard compliance by coordinating governance processes with legal and risk partners. The ideal candidate holds a master’s degree in business administration, finance, economics or a related discipline and brings at least five years of experience in business management, sales support or a strategic role within asset management or financial services. You must demonstrate strong strategic and analytical thinking, a creative problem‑solving approach, and exceptional organisational and project‑management abilities. Fluency in English and German, high professionalism with confidential information, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, Salesforce and AI prompting are required.
