As a Senior Software Architect you will shape the technical future of this platform, ensuring that cloud, edge, connectivity and hybrid components operate together securely, scalably and reliably. Your daily work will revolve around defining and maintaining the overall architecture of the Netilion platform. You will align technical solutions with business goals and product requirements, lead architecture reviews, and support key technology decisions. Establishing architecture standards, API guidelines and best practices will be part of your remit, as will identifying technical risks and managing technical debt. In addition, you will mentor architects, technical leads and engineering teams, fostering consistency and collaboration across the 12 agile squads that develop the ecosystem. The role requires several years of experience in a senior technical leadership position such as Software Architect, Platform Architect, Principal Engineer or Enterprise Architect. You must possess strong knowledge of cloud platforms, distributed systems, security, connectivity and data architectures, and have a proven track record of defining technical standards while guiding multiple engineering teams. The ability to evaluate trade‑offs, make pragmatic technology decisions and understand DevOps and SRE practices for building reliable systems is essential. Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills, the capacity to influence and mentor without formal authority, and business‑level fluency in both German and English complete the mandatory profile.
