Senior QA Specialist – Infrastructure and Logistics 80-100% (f/m/d)

Lonza is looking for a Senior QA Specialist, Infrastructure and Logistics to join its Visp, Switzerland site. The role sits within the QA Infrastructure and Logistics team, which safeguards the quality of utilities, warehousing and the flow of raw materials and finished products. Candidates who need to move to Visp can receive relocation support for themselves and their families. The daily work revolves around delivering quality assurance to internal project and operations stakeholders. Core duties include overseeing GMP and compliance matters, cold‑chain and supply‑chain activities, good warehousing practice and clean‑utility operations. The specialist will coordinate and chair Deviation Review Boards for utility and logistics incidents, evaluate change requests and CAPA items, and sign‑off on standard operating procedures for shared systems. Additional tasks involve assessing the GMP impact of utility or cold‑chain alarms, contributing to operational readiness risk reviews, supporting internal and external audits, and representing the Quality function in relevant meetings. Implementation of global quality policies at the local level also falls under this remit. Applicants must hold an academic qualification in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biochemistry, Supply Chain, Logistics or a comparable discipline. Relevant professional background in quality assurance, production, supply‑chain, logistics or quality control within a pharmaceutical, cGMP‑regulated environment is required. Familiarity with Swiss, EU and US GMP regulations is essential, as is the ability to communicate clearly in written and spoken English; German language skills are considered a plus.
