Lead Software Engineer, Back End - L5 (Bangkok based - Relocation provided)

Agoda, a global travel platform owned by Booking Holdings, connects millions of travelers with hotels, flights and experiences worldwide. The company, founded in 2005, operates from offices across many countries and is looking for a Lead Software Engineer, Back End to join its Bangkok hub, with a full relocation package for the successful candidate. In this position you will design and build highly scalable backend services that form the core of Agoda’s operations. You will write clean, production‑ready code, set technical standards and mentor a large group of engineers. Your work will involve shaping system architecture, steering cross‑team projects that raise service reliability and code quality, and championing best practices in observability, testing and debugging. You will also seek performance and cost improvements across the stack while communicating technical trade‑offs to business leaders. The role requires more than a decade of software engineering experience, with a proven track record of architectural leadership and end‑to‑end ownership of live services.
