Senior CPU Performance Developer Technology Engineer

NVIDIA is hiring a Senior CPU Performance Developer Technology Engineer to join its Compute Developer Technology (Devtech) group. The position centers on research and development aimed at optimizing critical cloud and high‑performance computing workloads for NVIDIA’s own CPUs, ensuring top performance across current and future silicon generations. In this role you will interact directly with the developer community and subject‑matter experts to uncover and solve the challenges they face today and tomorrow. You will mentor framework and application developers, contribute to their software stacks, libraries, or create reference implementations, and cooperate with internal teams—including architecture, research, libraries, tools, system software, and product management—to continuously refine NVIDIA’s products. Your work will also help shape the design of upcoming architectures and the software ecosystem by evaluating how changes affect application performance and developer productivity. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s, master’s or doctoral degree in computer science or an equivalent background and brings more than eight years of relevant experience. Proficiency in C, C++ and/or Fortran, together with a solid grasp of software design, programming techniques and algorithms, is required. You must have hands‑on experience benchmarking and tuning enterprise and cloud workloads, as well as strong communication, organization, logical problem‑solving, time‑management and task‑prioritization abilities. The position is offered on a hybrid basis, with salary ranges in Poland from 292,500 PLN to 650,000 PLN depending on level and experience.
