Belimo is a global leader in creating and selling devices for efficient control of heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems. The company is looking for a Working Student Packaging Engineering to support the development and optimization of packaging and labeling solutions for their products. This role involves working closely with the Packaging Engineering team and other departments to ensure that packaging meets high standards and supports sustainability goals. The main tasks include analyzing and documenting the current state of the packaging portfolio, assisting in the development and optimization of packaging solutions, and creating technical documentation. The role also involves conducting packaging tests, evaluating prototypes, and preparing samples. Additionally, the student will collect and evaluate information on packaging materials, sustainability topics, regulations, and industry trends. To qualify, candidates must be currently studying in a relevant field such as Packaging Engineering, Packaging Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, Materials Science, Sustainability, or a similar technical area. Experience or a strong interest in packaging development, technical documentation, data maintenance, and testing is essential. Proficiency in German at a native or B1-B2 level and very good English skills at B2 level are required. It is beneficial to have an interest in sustainability-related topics, packaging materials, regulations, and industry trends.
