NPL Innovation Project Manager

The NPL Innovation Project Manager role sits at La Prairie's global headquarters, where the team drives the company's pipeline of new and refreshed beauty products. Reporting to senior leadership, the manager steers the core project group to guarantee that every launch reaches the market on schedule, in full quantity and with the required quality standards. Day‑to‑day duties involve building detailed decision‑making packages, spotting and reporting risks early, and presenting clear updates to gatekeepers to secure approvals. The manager leads the NPL Core Team, including brand, formula, packaging and supply‑chain leads, fostering collaboration and keeping the project on track. They also allocate cross‑functional resources to boost profitability, act as a consultant to global marketing owners, and continuously refine the launch process together with the NPL leadership group. The position requires a university qualification in business, marketing, engineering, life sciences, supply chain or a comparable discipline, together with at least five years of experience in product development, innovation, marketing, R&D, packaging or supply‑chain within cosmetics, skincare, beauty or fast‑moving consumer goods. Candidates must have a proven record of managing a complete new‑product‑launch cycle from concept through commercialization, strong project‑management capabilities, and the ability to run several cross‑functional initiatives at once. Influencing stakeholders without direct authority, solid analytical and problem‑solving skills, and polished communication and presentation abilities for senior audiences are essential. Fluency in English is mandatory, while additional language skills are welcomed. Beyond the core requirements, the role benefits from an entrepreneurial outlook combined with a pragmatic, solution‑focused mindset. The ideal applicant works well in international, cross‑functional teams and can navigate complex, fast‑paced environments while resolving conflicts. Experience across more than one functional area, such as marketing, R&D, packaging or supply chain, and a background in luxury skincare or premium consumer goods are advantageous. Holding a recognised project‑management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile or similar) is also considered a plus.
