Project Manager

The Project Manager role sits within DEPT®’s Experience & Engineering unit in Zurich. With more than 4,000 specialists, the agency delivers services across Brand & Media, Experience, Commerce, CRM, and Technology & Data for clients such as Google, Lufthansa, Meta, eBay and OpenAI. The Zurich team focuses on creating high‑impact digital experiences that combine strategic insight with performance‑driven execution. In this position you will plan, coordinate and implement complex online and e‑commerce projects while safeguarding milestones, budget and quality. You will own the full project lifecycle—from drafting offers to monitoring key performance indicators—acting as the central communication hub between internal experts and external stakeholders. Daily tasks include leading interdisciplinary teams across locations, managing stakeholder expectations, handling risk, controlling costs, and producing regular reports. You will also advise clients with confidence, translate requirements into actionable briefs, and ensure that design and usability standards are met throughout the delivery process. The ideal candidate brings at least three years of experience in a client‑facing agency environment or in direct corporate consulting, and is fluent in both written and spoken German and English. You have hands‑on experience with the technical implementation of digital or e‑commerce projects and are comfortable using classic and agile project‑management methods. Proficiency with tools such as Asana or Jira, the ability to create cost overviews and offers, and skill in designing project plans with clear milestones and dependencies are essential. You work independently, maintain a structured and high‑quality approach, and have a proven track record of leading interdisciplinary teams that include Strategy, UX, UI, Development and QA specialists.
