Lead Software Engineer

OWT is a strategy and technology consulting firm that partners with Anthropic to support Alpha Factory, a pioneering center for human-centered AI adoption in Switzerland. The role involves leading the design and delivery of software solutions using Claude, Claude Code, and engineering best practices. The main responsibilities include acting as the primary technical contact for clients, participating in the entire project lifecycle from requirements analysis to production, and contributing to the technical architecture. The role also involves setting up CI/CD pipelines, applying agile methodologies like SCRUM and SAFe, and fostering a DevSecOps culture. Additionally, the Lead Software Engineer will mentor developers and promote a continuous learning environment. To qualify, candidates must have a degree in computer science or a related field, with at least 7 years of development experience and proven leadership in Agile teams. Proficiency in Spring Boot or .NET is required, with Angular/React being a plus. Hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, and agent design is essential, with RAG being an additional asset. Knowledge of web architectures, REST services, and security best practices (OWASP, JWT, authorization management) is also necessary. Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and Docker, along with an understanding of Kubernetes fundamentals, is crucial. Familiarity with CI/CD and a DevSecOps culture is required. Fluency in German and English (minimum C1 level) is mandatory, with French being a plus.
