(Senior) Group Accountant

Partners Group, a leading global private markets investment manager, is seeking a Group Accountant to enhance their finance function. The company manages USD 185 billion in assets and serves over 800 institutional investors worldwide, with a presence in 24 offices. The role involves supporting and improving the finance system landscape, ensuring high-quality consolidation and reporting processes. The Group Accountant will be responsible for contributing to the Group Financial Reporting team's closing and consolidation process, ensuring accurate and timely financial information. This includes preparing and reviewing financial submissions, consolidation outputs, and accounting treatments. The role also involves supporting the statutory accounting team with various accounting matters and technical finance topics. Additionally, the Group Accountant will work on improving the finance system landscape, focusing on automation, process efficiency, and data quality. Collaboration with cross-functional teams on finance-related projects is also a key part of the role. To excel in this position, candidates must have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Controlling, Finance, or a related field. Around five years of relevant experience, or a strong foundation gained through CPA/audit training, is required. Strong accounting knowledge, including consolidation, statutory accounting, and IFRS financial reporting, is essential. Candidates must also demonstrate the ability to analyze financial data and communicate insights clearly. Fluency in English is a must. Nice-to-have skills include experience with finance systems, automation, and process improvement, ideally with exposure to S/4HANA Group Reporting or similar consolidation tools.
