Roche, a worldwide leader in medicines and diagnostics, offers a 12‑month internship beginning in February 2027 at its Kaiseraugst campus. The role sits within the PTDS Global Clinical Supply Chain Management's Production Enablement unit, supporting the Global Clinical Artwork Manager who oversees label design for investigational medicinal products used in clinical trials worldwide. During the placement you will be tasked with drafting and updating label artwork, ensuring every label complies with medical, legal and regulatory standards. You will manage the full life‑cycle of various label formats, from single‑panel to booklet and shelf‑life extensions, and act as the label team's voice in cross‑functional meetings and project groups. Collaboration with internal functions, external suppliers and the global network of Local Label Representatives will be essential to deliver labeling solutions for both in‑house and contract manufacturing sites. You will also monitor timelines, report progress to stakeholders, resolve issues in the printing process, drive approvals, and apply Lean Production System principles to suggest and implement process improvements. Building expertise in the SAP Global Label Management tool, maintaining master‑data records, ordering labels from vendors and tracking key performance indicators are also part of the daily routine. Additional duties include leading monthly performance reviews with booklet vendors, supporting the New Capabilities Team on emerging label technologies, and partnering with the Artificial Intelligence Community of Practice to explore AI‑driven use cases. The internship is open to students who are currently enrolled in or have finished a university or technical college programme within the past year. Studies in pharmacy, biopharma or supply‑chain management are preferred, reflecting the technical focus of the position. While the core academic background is mandatory, the posting highlights several advantageous skills. Familiarity with SAP Global Label Management and an understanding of Lean Production System methods are valued. Experience in supplier relationship management, especially with label‑printing vendors, and exposure to new labeling technologies or AI initiatives are considered beneficial. The Kaiseraugst site hosts more than 2,000 employees and houses Roche's most advanced packaging operation, offering a vibrant, inclusive environment where interns can develop specialist knowledge and contribute to global clinical supply efforts. What the role asks for: - Currently enrolled in or graduated within 12 months from university/technical college - Studies in pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical or supply‑chain management (preferred) - Familiarity with SAP Global Label Management (nice‑to‑have) - Understanding of Lean Production System principles (nice‑to‑have) - Experience in supplier relationship management (nice‑to‑have) - Exposure to emerging label technologies or AI use cases (nice‑to‑have)
