Local Hosting Service Owner (m/f/d) (80-100%)

The Local Hosting Service Owner (m/f/d) will be responsible for the reliable, secure and cost‑effective delivery of on‑premises hosting and infrastructure services at Accelleron's Swiss sites. In the daily routine the role covers both operational (RUN) and project (BUILD) activities. You will own the local hosting landscape, servers, virtualization, storage, high‑performance‑computing clusters and data‑centre facilities, and guarantee stable, SLA‑driven performance for critical factory and engineering workloads. Responsibilities include capacity planning, incident and problem management, root‑cause analysis, compliance with security and disaster‑recovery policies, and continuous improvement through standardisation and automation. You act as the main liaison between the factory IT teams, global Infrastructure and Cybersecurity groups, service providers and external partners, steering changes, risks and service‑level governance. The position requires a solid technical foundation and proven service‑ownership experience. A university degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a comparable field is mandatory. You must possess deep knowledge of on‑premises hosting, virtualization, storage and data‑centre technologies, and have a track record of managing infrastructure services with clear SLA/KPI responsibilities. Understanding of cybersecurity, regulatory compliance, risk management, disaster‑recovery and business‑continuity concepts is essential. Prior experience in IT service operations, incident handling and vendor coordination is expected, together with strong analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑communication abilities. Fluency in German and a good command of English (minimum B2) are required, as is a high level of ownership and the willingness to support multiple Swiss locations. Additional strengths are valued but not compulsory. Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) processes, SAP‑based procurement, and experience supporting manufacturing or engineering environments will be seen as advantageous. Experience driving infrastructure standardisation, automation and operational‑excellence initiatives further strengthens the profile.
