Head of Group Internal Communications (CH/BE)

The Head of Group Internal Communications will join the leadership team of mci group, a multinational, multi‑brand organisation that believes communication links strategy, culture and people. Reporting to the Group HR Director, the role works closely with the CEO, Group President, People & Operations and other senior stakeholders across the company's international footprint. In this position you will design and drive the internal communications strategy and set yearly priorities. You will counsel senior leaders on executive messaging, organisational change and employee engagement, and partner with Group HR to bring the Employee Value Proposition to life through onboarding, culture initiatives and the overall employee experience. Together with IT and the Digital Transformation team you will help evolve the digital workplace, improving content governance, user adoption and knowledge sharing. You will act as a trusted adviser throughout the business, coach the Group Internal Communications Coordinator, oversee the planning and delivery of the annual Business Academy leadership event, and support high‑visibility moments such as CEO Live and other leadership gatherings. The role requires at least eight years of experience in internal communications and employee engagement, combined with an international outlook and the ability to work across diverse cultures and stakeholder groups. You must be comfortable advising and influencing senior executives, possess outstanding English writing, editing and storytelling abilities, and be able to blend strategic thinking with practical execution. Experience leading communication through organisational change or business integration, a proven record of aligning functions, countries and business units, and a solid grasp of how communication supports the employee lifecycle are essential.
