The role is a Cyber Security Intern attached to Chanel's Swiss Markets Risk & Security Office (RISO). Chanel, the historic luxury house founded in 1910, creates, manufactures and distributes ready‑to‑wear, accessories, fragrance, makeup, skincare, jewellery and watches for a global clientele. The internship is based in Geneva and will support the RISO's daily cyber‑security activities and transformation initiatives across the five pillars of its operating model: Governance, Risk & Compliance, Response, Advisory, Resilience and Transformation. On a day‑to‑day basis the intern will help monitor and follow up phishing simulation campaigns, track results, coordinate remediation actions and contribute to awareness programmes. The position also involves assisting with security assessments, internal audits and gathering evidence for compliance work, as well as preparing dashboards, status reports and related documentation. In the Response pillar the intern will aid in daily monitoring of security alerts, record investigation findings and update remediation progress. Advisory duties include providing guidance to IT teams and business partners, reviewing security requirements and suggesting practical recommendations that align with Group standards. The Resilience function requires support for vulnerability management in both on‑premises and cloud environments, as well as follow‑up on penetration‑test outcomes, action‑plan tracking and reporting. Finally, the Transformation pillar calls for coordination, documentation and reporting of cyber‑security modernization projects across Swiss Markets and the countries under its remit. The candidate must be enrolled in a degree programme such as Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a closely related field. A strong interest in cyber security, IT risk management and compliance topics is essential, together with a basic understanding of security alerts, vulnerabilities and both cloud and on‑premises infrastructure concepts. The role demands solid analytical abilities, the capacity to structure information, follow action plans and produce clear reports. The intern should be curious, rigorous, proactive and eager to learn in an international setting, and be able to communicate clearly with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Confidentiality, discretion and meticulous attention to detail are required, as is fluency in French and English; knowledge of Spanish or Portuguese is considered an advantage. The internship is a full‑time, in‑person commitment (100 %) for six months, starting on 4 January 2027, with a five‑day work week (Monday‑Friday). It must be part of the student's study programme, required for degree completion and validated through academic credit. Working in Geneva, the intern will interact with IT leaders and stakeholders across Switzerland, Mexico, Panama, Brazil and India, gaining exposure to a multinational environment and Chanel's culture of creativity, collaboration and personal development. The position offers a unique chance to contribute to a world‑leading luxury brand while building practical cyber‑security expertise within a supportive, diverse team.
