Secondaries & Primaries Intern - January 2027 I Zurich

Ardian is seeking a six‑month intern for its Secondaries and Primaries investment team in Zurich, joining a global group of more than 110 professionals spread across Europe, Asia and North America. The firm, a diversified private‑markets manager with 22 offices and over 350 investment staff, oversees roughly $200 billion for nearly 2,000 clients in private equity, real assets and credit. During the internship the individual will support the team by evaluating primary and secondary investment opportunities, building and maintaining financial models in Excel, tracking and analysing portfolio company performance, and preparing client‑facing reports. Additional duties may involve a variety of ad‑hoc projects across the investment process. Candidates must be university students or recent graduates at the bachelor’s or master’s level in finance, banking, business or economics, with strong academic results. Prior internship experience in financial services, private equity, M&A or consulting is required, as are solid analytical abilities and a keen interest in private‑market investments. Proficiency in German and English is mandatory, with French considered a plus. Applicants need to be eligible to work in Switzerland, comfortable working independently, quick to learn, and reliable team players. Mastery of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint, is essential. The position offers competitive compensation, a lunch voucher, and the chance to work within Ardian’s inclusive, multicultural environment. Interns become integral members of the Zurich team, gaining deep exposure to private‑equity operations while collaborating with seasoned investment professionals across the firm’s worldwide network.
