The role is a 2027 Internship in Real Estate Portfolio Management based in Geneva. UBS, a global wealth manager and universal bank, offers diversified asset management and investment banking. The intern will support the Portfolio Manager in executing strategies for the direct real estate portfolio across Europe, covering various asset classes such as office, retail, and logistics. This includes tasks like acquisition, management, repositioning, financing, and disposition. The intern's daily tasks will involve quantitative and performance analysis of the portfolio, including cash flows and investor reporting. They will also provide analytical support for specific projects and ad hoc analyses, such as discounted cash flows, acquisitions, property valuations, asset sales, and financing. Additionally, the intern will gain insights into the industry, culture, and strategy of UBS, supporting teams that offer customized real estate solutions to private and institutional clients. To qualify, candidates must have completed at least four semesters of a bachelor's degree and graduated within the last six months. A strong analytical and financial background is essential, along with a proactive attitude and a keen interest in real estate. Fluency in English and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint are required. Candidates should also demonstrate how the responsible use of AI can enhance outcomes and efficiency. Nice-to-have skills include experience in organizing events or participating in team sports, showcasing unique achievements that align with the required skills. The internship offers a dynamic environment with opportunities to learn from experts, participate in day-to-day operations, and develop new skills. The program includes mentorship and the chance to interact with senior team members, with the potential for a future offer to join the Graduate Talent Program upon completion of studies.
