Head of Group Treasury

As the Head of Group Treasury you will steer Belimo's worldwide treasury operation at a pivotal growth phase. Belimo, a Swiss‑listed leader in energy‑efficient HVAC components, designs and sells actuators, valves, sensors and meters for heating, ventilation and air‑conditioning systems. In this senior position you will own the planning of liquidity, oversight of cash flows, financing strategies, bank partnerships and the management of financial risks for the entire group. Your daily work will involve shaping and continuously improving the treasury function in line with Belimo's values. You will create transparent global liquidity forecasts, refine cash‑pooling and intercompany financing models across key regions and currencies, and set up robust treasury policies, governance and internal controls. Managing financing programmes, nurturing relationships with banks, investors and rating agencies, and directing hedging programmes for foreign‑exchange and interest‑rate exposure are core duties. You will also champion digitalisation, automation and high‑quality reporting while advising senior management on M&A, investment and financing projects. The role requires a university degree in finance, economics, business administration or a comparable field, together with extensive experience in corporate treasury within a multinational setting. You must possess hands‑on knowledge of liquidity planning, cash management, cash pooling, intercompany financing and financial‑risk mitigation. Proven ability to coordinate complex stakeholder networks, including finance teams, business leaders, subsidiaries and external partners, is essential. Familiarity with treasury management systems, banking platforms, digital treasury tools and the IFRS impact on treasury activities is expected. Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is mandatory, and you should demonstrate reliability, accountability, strong analytical judgment and decisive decision‑making. Leadership that builds trust, communicates intricate topics clearly and supports the growth of people and processes is a key attribute. A professional treasury certification or an MBA would be advantageous, as would proficiency in German to strengthen internal connections.
