The Tax Reporting Specialist role is within the Technology & Operations unit, specifically in the Tax Operations team. This team provides tax-related services to both internal and external clients. The main responsibilities of the Tax Reporting Specialist include planning, testing, and producing tax statements for Lombard Odier clients and external Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) clients. The role involves creating and enhancing business process controls, following up on business requirements, and participating in the testing of the in-house tax reporting application. The specialist will also liaise with key stakeholders, provide support for data analysis on tax-related topics, and draft and maintain operational procedures. Collaboration with various teams, including Technology, Front Office, Legal, and Senior Management, is essential. To qualify for this role, candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or an equivalent qualification. A Swiss CFC or Maturité Professionnelle Bancaire is also considered. Previous experience in tax reporting or a related field is highly valued. Fluency in English and/or French is required, with additional languages being an asset. The role demands strong attention to detail, autonomy, curiosity, and effective communication skills. The ability to work in a dynamic and evolving environment is crucial. Nice-to-have skills include a proactive and enthusiastic team player mindset, intellectual curiosity, and a strong sense of accountability. The role offers the opportunity for long-term growth, with the potential to progress into a Deputy role. The Tax Reporting team provides a collaborative and empowering work environment with flexible working arrangements. Residency in Switzerland or willingness to relocate is required.
