At its Lyss site in Switzerland, the company is looking for a part‑time or full‑time laboratory assistant (80‑100 % FTE) to support the environmental‑analysis unit. The position sits within a multicultural team that values safety, inclusion and continuous learning. The day‑to‑day work blends hands‑on laboratory duties with customer‑facing and logistical tasks. You will help prepare samples and take part in routine analyses, receive and catalogue incoming specimens, arrange pick‑ups, label and sort material, and manage the flow of samples through the internal logistics chain. Additional responsibilities may include waste handling, stock control, and occasional administrative support such as invoicing, depending on your skills and interests. The employer expects a meticulous, well‑organized approach and the ability to follow procedures accurately. Fluency in German, both spoken and written, is essential, as is competence with standard office software, particularly the Microsoft Office suite. Candidates must be legally entitled to work in Switzerland, either as a citizen, permanent resident or holder of a valid work permit. Experience in a laboratory, technical, craft, administrative or logistics setting is considered a plus, though it is not a strict prerequisite. Prior exposure to laboratory environments is welcomed, and a collaborative attitude is highly valued. The role offers 25 days of annual leave plus two additional days off, flexible working hours, and a schedule free of night‑shifts or Sunday work.
