Rothschild & Co, a family‑controlled global financial services group with more than 200 years of history, is expanding its Global Advisory team in Zurich. The firm advises large and mid‑size corporations, private‑equity owners, families, entrepreneurs and governments on strategic M&A, equity and debt financing. As an Analyst or Associate you will join the most active M&A and financing adviser in Switzerland, supporting the design and execution of transactions for a diverse client base. In this role you will be involved in several deals at once, contributing across the full deal lifecycle. Typical tasks include preparing corporate‑finance analyses, building valuation models, drafting client presentations, information memoranda and offering documents, and supporting marketing activities for client development. You will also lead junior colleagues on specific workstreams, ensure timely delivery of deliverables, and coordinate with teams across different geographies to meet critical deadlines. The position requires a bachelor’s degree and prior experience in an investment‑banking environment. Candidates must demonstrate strong quantitative and analytical capabilities, especially in constructing financial models and interpreting financial statements. Leadership qualities are essential to guide junior team members and foster effective collaboration across the firm. You should be comfortable managing multiple workstreams in a fast‑paced setting, presenting to clients, and taking on increasing project‑management responsibilities. A solid grasp of the regulatory framework surrounding M&A and financing, together with advanced skills in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel, and familiarity with FactSet, are also mandatory. A master’s degree is viewed as an advantage, reflecting the firm’s commitment to continuous learning and development. The Zurich office offers a balanced, inclusive and flexible environment that encourages long‑term career growth while supporting personal aspirations.
