The role of Senior Manager, Cost Engineering/DTV at Johnson & Johnson involves leading the Cost Engineering/DTV centre of excellence. Additionally, the Senior Manager will work with cross-functional teams to develop strategic plans, analyze product specifications, and lead the use of digital technologies in cost engineering. The role also includes training and mentoring team members, as well as overseeing the onboarding of new resources. To qualify for this role, candidates must have a Master of Engineering or a Bachelor's in Engineering or Biological Sciences degree. A minimum of 15 years of work experience in a manufacturing environment is required, with at least 5 years of practical should cost modeling experience. Knowledge of activity-based cost accounting principles and a broad understanding of biotechnology, pharma, chemical, and/or packaging manufacturing processes are also necessary. Additionally, candidates should have negotiation skills and the ability to create fact-based rationales. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt and CPSM certification are preferred. Nice-to-have skills include an understanding of activity-based cost accounting principles. The role is based in Zug, Switzerland, with additional locations in Titusville, US NJ, Cork, Ireland, Leiden, Netherlands, Beerse, Belgium, and Latina, Italy.
