The role of Senior Technical Services Representative Food Applications at Omya involves providing technical and laboratory support for existing products and solutions. To qualify for this role, candidates must have a degree in Food Engineering or a related field, with a PhD being preferred. A minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role or in product development within the food industry is required, with B2B experience being preferred. Strong understanding of the food ingredient market and experience in powder processing is an advantage. Proven ability to design experiments, analyze and interpret data, and translate results into actionable recommendations is essential. Strong ownership mindset, technical leadership experience, and excellent communication skills are also required. Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is mandatory, with additional languages being an advantage. The role requires a willingness to travel up to 70% of the time.
