As a Security & Infrastructure Engineering Intern, you will contribute to real-world projects focused on cybersecurity, network infrastructure, and compliance. Your work will involve building secure, automated systems and developing expertise in security practices, infrastructure management, and DevOps best practices. Your main responsibilities will include contributing to the development of secure, automated systems. You will work on projects that span cybersecurity, network infrastructure, and compliance, gaining hands-on experience in security practices, infrastructure management, and DevOps. This role offers the opportunity to work on meaningful projects that have a direct impact on the sustainability and environmental impact of the shipping industry. To qualify for this role, you must be currently pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Bash, C, or C++ is essential, as is the ability to navigate and administer Linux systems. Strong communication skills and the ability to document findings clearly are also required. Additionally, a genuine interest in cybersecurity, networking, and security compliance is crucial. Nice-to-have skills include experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and DevOps practices. Familiarity with build automation tools, deployment processes, and version control systems like Git is also beneficial. Previous exposure to penetration testing reports, cyber audit documentation, or similar technical writing can be an asset. The internship is based in Winterthur, offering a dynamic and interactive working environment with a non-hierarchical, agile structure.
