Product Owner – Portfolio Analysis & Position Management 80%-100% (f/m/d)

The role is Product Owner, Portfolio Analysis & Position Management (80‑100 %) at Julius Baer, a leading Swiss wealth‑management group that provides advisory and investment services to sophisticated private clients worldwide. The position focuses on the core Position Management and Portfolio Analysis platform (Temenos Triple A), which acts as the definitive source for client holdings, performance reports and analytical insights across the bank's digital ecosystem. Day‑to‑day the Product Owner will take full responsibility for the platform, balancing new feature delivery, technical upgrades and system stability. You will shape a forward‑looking product vision, define the target architecture and create a multi‑year roadmap that aligns with group objectives and technology standards. Close cooperation with business partners, architects and engineering teams is required to prioritise and roll out high‑value capabilities such as advanced valuation, performance attribution, risk‑adjusted returns and cash‑flow analytics. In a Scaled Agile (SAFe) setting you will steer backlog grooming, sprint planning and release coordination, act as the main liaison between business and IT, and oversee user‑acceptance testing to ensure functional, performance, compliance and usability criteria are met. The must‑have profile includes a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Business Administration or a related discipline, and at least five years of experience in product ownership or product management, preferably within wealth‑management, asset‑management or investment‑operations environments. Candidates must possess a deep knowledge of portfolio accounting, covering position valuation, performance measurement, accruals, cash‑flow analysis and transaction processing. Fluency in written and spoken English is required, and strong analytical abilities combined with excellent communication skills are essential. Nice‑to‑have attributes are hands‑on experience with the Temenos Triple A platform, a background in leading distributed, multicultural teams and familiarity with delivery models in APAC, EMEA and near‑shore locations. Experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe) and DevOps practices, as well as additional language skills, will be considered advantageous.
