As Senior Product Manager for Automation & Digital Products you will own the portfolio that spans PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, software tools and digital services such as XR mock‑ups and digital twins. In this role you will shape product strategies, build roadmaps and create business cases that reflect market, customer and technology insights. You will analyse trends, translate them into new solutions and prioritize customer requirements. From concept through to market launch you will steer the full product lifecycle, while working hand‑in‑hand with customers, sales, engineering, software development and service teams. You will also back sales and business‑development initiatives on strategic projects. The position requires a university degree in electrical engineering, automation technology, computer science, industrial engineering or a comparable field. You need several years of experience in product management, business development or sales of automation and software solutions. A solid grasp of PLC, HMI and SCADA technologies is essential, as is hands‑on experience with Industry 4.0, digitalisation, data integration or IIoT. You must understand automation, electrical and software engineering and have a background in technical sales and requirements management for capital goods or software products. Fluency in German and English is mandatory. The ideal candidate combines a customer‑focused, persuasive communication style with a strategic mindset and strong execution skills. Analytical, structured problem‑solving and a high degree of technical affinity for automation and digital solutions are valued.
