Principal, Construction/Preconstruction

The role of Principal, Delivery & Preconstruction at Unispace involves leading both preconstruction and project delivery functions in Zurich. For delivery, the role involves providing senior oversight across live projects, supporting project managers, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, profitably, and to high standards. Additionally, the role includes leading and developing a team, establishing project management standards, reviewing cost plans, and maintaining visibility of project risks and margins. Must-have requirements include a strong commercial fit-out background, with significant experience in delivering fit-out projects. Experience in a Design & Build or similarly commercially led fit-out environment is particularly valuable. Key areas of expertise should cover commercial interior fit-out, preconstruction and estimating, cost planning, procurement, contract management, project delivery, risk management, and team leadership. Nice-to-have skills include the ability to move between strategic and detailed work, leading people, and setting direction while also being able to challenge cost plans and review commercial positions.
