Administrator Engine Data Archiving (Temporary for one year)

The position of Administrator Engine Data Archiving is a one‑year temporary role with a Zurich‑based, globally recognised provider of engine maintenance, repair and overhaul services. The firm, boasting more than nine decades of experience, operates a worldwide network of partners and offices across Europe, the United States, Asia and the Middle East, delivering tailored solutions for aircraft engines, airframes and component sales to a customer base exceeding five hundred. In this job you will organise and ready all paperwork from every business division for digitisation, ensuring each file meets internal standards and the rules of aviation authorities. After confirming that records are complete, you will scan them, move the resulting files onto the company’s servers and prepare media such as CDs or USB drives for client delivery. You will also assist quality managers during audits, help colleagues locate specific documents, and keep both the paper filing system and the electronic repository aligned with regulations from bodies like EASA, FAA and FOCA, as well as contractual obligations. Supplying customers with the requested documentation forms part of the routine. Applicants need a finished vocational apprenticeship, preferably in a commercial or technical field, and must be able to communicate in English and German at a B1 level. Prior exposure to the aviation sector, especially MRO or engine upkeep, is considered a plus. Familiarity with archiving tools, basic MS Office skills and, optionally, SAP R/3 knowledge are advantageous. The role is open only to candidates holding an EU passport, Swiss citizenship or a valid Swiss work permit.
