Head of Operations - Switzerland (80%)

The Head of Operations - Switzerland role is based in Le Châble, in the heart of the Swiss Alps, and is responsible for the day-to-day running of Cirkel's Swiss business, including warehouse management, inventory, logistics, and customer service. The main responsibilities of the Head of Operations - Switzerland include managing daily operations of the Swiss warehouse, overseeing inventory management, and ensuring quality control. The role also involves managing and improving operational processes, driving customer service standards, and tracking operational KPIs. Additionally, the position requires supporting peak-season planning, managing the seasonal operations team, and handling office administration. The role is both hands-on and organisational, with a focus on efficiency, reliability, and cost per order. To qualify for this role, candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, along with three or more years of experience in operations, logistics, retail, or hospitality. Proficiency in English and French, both written and spoken, is essential. Candidates must also have experience with operational tools such as Excel, Google Suite, and inventory or order management systems. A valid driving licence and Swiss work authorisation, or eligibility to obtain it, are required. The role demands the ability to work weekends and irregular hours during peak weeks, and to perform physical work alongside the team when necessary. Nice-to-have skills include experience in ski, sports, or fashion companies, as well as familiarity with circular or rental business models. Proficiency in German or Italian, experience in recruiting and managing staff, and data competence are also valued. The role is based in Val de Bagnes, and candidates must be willing to relocate if necessary.
