Legal Engineer – French-speaking

Omnilex is building an AI‑native platform that helps lawyers work faster by improving legal research and automating routine tasks. The company, founded by a team with roots at ETH Zurich, has moved from an early prototype to a daily‑used product for thousands of legal professionals in Switzerland, Germany and Liechtenstein, and is now expanding throughout Europe. As a Legal Engineer you will be the bridge that turns a cautious law firm into a full‑scale user of the platform, taking responsibility for the most important French‑speaking Swiss accounts from the initial test phase to complete deployment. In practice you will manage the testing and rollout of Omnilex at strategic firms, advise them on embedding the tool into their everyday workflows, and systematically eliminate any obstacles to adoption. You will act as the firm’s internal champion, translating legal practice into clear product direction, gathering structured feedback, and feeding it into the engineering roadmap. Regular syncs with engineers will ensure they understand the legal rationale behind each request, while you run workshops, webinars and written guides that explain new features in legal rather than technical language. The role requires a legal background—either a law degree or comparable experience inside a law firm or legal department—and a solid grasp of how decisions are made within such organisations. You must be at ease speaking with clients and collaborating with engineers, take ownership of results, and be methodical and persistent enough to move slow‑moving institutions forward. Precise communication is essential, and you need fluency in both French and English together with a Swiss work permit or EU/EFTA citizenship. Experience in LegalTech or AI‑driven SaaS solutions is a plus.
