Private Markets Analyst Program – Infrastructure Investment Team

The role of a Private Markets Analyst Program participant within the Infrastructure Investment Team at LGT Capital Partners is designed for early-career professionals aiming to build a long-term career in private markets. The program spans two years, beginning with a three-week training module and continuing with hands-on learning and structured development. Successful participants may transition into an Associate role. The main day-to-day responsibilities involve supporting the infrastructure investment team throughout the full investment lifecycle. This includes assessing primary fund, secondary, and co-investment opportunities through financial modeling, commercial analysis, and due diligence. The role also involves analyzing infrastructure companies and projects across various sectors, supporting transaction execution, and monitoring existing investments. Additionally, the analyst will conduct market research, maintain the opportunity pipeline, and contribute to strategic initiatives. To qualify, candidates must have a Master's degree in business, economics, finance, accounting, or a related quantitative field from a leading university. Prior internship experience in infrastructure investing, private equity, project finance, investment banking, transaction advisory, or strategy consulting is highly valued. A solid understanding of financial statements and business analysis is essential. Proficiency in English is required, with additional languages being an advantage. The role is based in Switzerland, near Zurich, and the anticipated start date is 1 July 2027.
