Test Engineer (m/f/x)

As a Test Engineer at Liebherr Machines Bulle SA you will lead the testing of engine components throughout all development phases, ensuring a smooth transition from prototype to pre‑production. You will conduct workshop and test‑bench experiments, analyse measurement data and document the results in standardized reports that are shared across interdisciplinary teams. Your daily tasks include gathering test requests and validation plans, converting validation needs into appropriate test cycles, planning and monitoring test execution, and highlighting any deviations or blocking issues. You will collaborate closely with component technicians, support problem‑solving for engine components, and contribute to the continuous improvement of test procedures, processes and documentation standards. The role requires a bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, solid experience in engine development, and advanced knowledge of combustion engines and DVP‑NRT methodology. Proficiency with MS Office, ERP systems and data‑analytics/post‑processing software is essential. Fluency in French and English is mandatory, while German language skills are a plus. An analytical mindset, reliability under pressure and a collaborative, team‑oriented attitude are also expected.
