Integration and DevOps Engineer (80-100%)

The Integration and DevOps Engineer will join the IT Operations unit, a 16‑person team split between Luxembourg and Geneva, tasked with bringing new business applications into the bank's ecosystem while preserving quality and reducing risk. The day‑to‑day work revolves around overseeing the release management cycle, coordinating planned changes between development and production groups, and leading Change Advisory Board sessions. The engineer will design, implement and integrate applications across development, test, UAT and production environments, work closely with security, platform, infrastructure and third‑party providers, and document technical requirements. Continuous improvement is pursued through problem‑management activities aimed at lowering application downtime, while regular interaction with internal teams such as DBA, network, Citrix, and external vendors ensures smooth operation. The role requires a master's degree in IT or an equivalent qualification. Candidates must demonstrate solid expertise with development languages and associated servers, specifically Java, JBoss and C++. Proficiency in modern CI/CD tools, including OpenShift, Kubernetes and a strong grasp of DevOps principles, is essential, as is the ability to handle production‑level utilities such as FTP transfers and job schedulers. Fluency in both English and French is mandatory, and applicants need to reside in Switzerland or be prepared to relocate. Experience in the banking sector is considered advantageous but not compulsory.
