The main day-to-day responsibilities include developing and shaping design concepts in close collaboration with customers, managing the technical specifications of valve solutions, and collaborating on complex development projects in an international environment. The role also involves being the primary point of contact for technical customer inquiries and new applications, driving new product developments in the PET sector, and building expertise in blow molding and valve technology. Additionally, the Application Engineer will work closely with internal teams and external partners. To qualify for this role, candidates must have a degree in mechanical engineering or systems engineering, several years of experience in product development, and a strong understanding of customer requirements. Experience with technically challenging products in an industrial setting is essential. The role requires very good German and English language skills. Nice-to-have skills include experience in the field of PET/blow molding and knowledge of valve or fluid technology.
