Senior Solutions Architect, Higher Education and Research, Multimodal and Physical AI

NVIDIA, a leader in graphics, accelerated computing and AI, seeks a Senior Solutions Architect focused on higher‑education and research to advance multimodal and physical AI. The role serves as the primary technical liaison for university labs, faculty and researchers, helping them adopt NVIDIA’s hardware and software platforms. Day‑to‑day duties involve partnering with research groups to understand their scientific objectives, embedding NVIDIA frameworks, libraries and the broader software stack into large‑scale projects, and supporting the creation of publications and conference material. The architect also delivers hands‑on training, workshops and demonstrations, mentors power users, monitors emerging research trends, and translates gaps into prototype solutions that inform NVIDIA engineering. Candidates must hold a graduate degree in a STEM field (or equivalent experience) and bring at least five years of experience with multimodal AI and world‑model pipelines on multi‑node GPU systems, covering data curation, pre‑training, evaluation and efficient inference. Strong collaboration, clear communication in English, and proficiency in Python are required. Preferred qualifications include a PhD with research experience, a record of high‑impact publications or conference talks, and familiarity with NVIDIA’s visual‑AI stack such as CUDA‑X, NeMo, Megatron, Isaac and MONAI. The position entails roughly 20 % travel and extensive use of virtual collaboration tools.
