Project Construction Manager (French Speaking)

As a Project Construction Manager who speaks French, you will be part of the team that turns this vision into reality by overseeing the erection phase of large‑scale industrial projects. Your daily work will involve creating and controlling the erection schedule while meeting health, safety, environmental, quality, timing and budget targets. You will work closely with the Project Manager and HSMIC to plan resources, assist site crews in meeting work‑package goals, and define and acquire the necessary installation kits and tools together with the Site Manager. The role also requires sourcing and contracting external personnel, tracking progress, spotting deviations and risks, and taking corrective action in partnership with the Project Director. You will design erection and crane strategies, conduct constructability reviews, organise site‑schedule activities, ensure strict compliance with company HSE standards, and deliver regular status reports on progress and risks. The position demands several years of experience in plant erection—ideally on large industrial facilities—along with a background in site management, erection planning and cross‑disciplinary project coordination. Candidates must possess deep market and product insight for the sector, the ability to devise high‑level plans from analysis, and commercial judgement to influence decisions within their remit. Fluency in French and English is essential, while additional languages are a plus. Proficiency with Microsoft tools, SAP and PIRS, together with current SCC and IOSH certifications, is required, as is the capacity to motivate teams and negotiate technically with subcontractors.
