Global Medical Affairs Lead - Diabetes & Obesity

The position of Global Medical Affairs Lead – Diabetes & Obesity sits within Nestlé Nutrition & Health’s Strategic Business Unit, where the focus is on developing and delivering nutrition solutions that benefit both people and the planet. In this role you will shape and implement the worldwide medical and scientific plan for the Diabetes & Obesity portfolio throughout every stage of the product lifecycle, working hand‑in‑hand with research, commercial, local medical groups and external scientific partners. Your daily work will involve steering the evidence‑generation agenda, aligning R&D, commercial and medical functions, and fostering collaborations with healthcare professionals, scientific societies and key opinion leaders. You will also be responsible for producing high‑quality medical education and scientific communications for both external clinicians and internal teams, turning research findings into clear, market‑relevant messages, while keeping a close eye on emerging science and competitor activity to refine strategy and positioning. The role requires deep experience in medical and scientific affairs within either clinical nutrition or pharmaceutical settings, proven ability to design and lead evidence‑generation programmes, and skill in converting complex data into practical insights. Strong stakeholder‑management capabilities are essential for influencing cross‑functional groups and external experts, and you must be fluent in English.
