Project Manager for ENLIGHT Joint Master's degree development

UniBE is a Bernese institution focused on education and research. The Project Manager for ENLIGHT Joint Master's degree development will work on creating and managing a new Joint Master's degree programme. This role involves collaborating with professors to develop the programme, coordinating work packages, and ensuring smooth communication and coordination among partner institutions. The Project Manager will also monitor project progress, structure work phases, and ensure timely delivery of milestones. Additionally, the role includes contributing to the content and organizational development of the degree programme, including cooperation agreements and formal frameworks. The main day-to-day responsibilities include developing the Joint Master's degree programme, coordinating work packages, and ensuring smooth information flow among partner institutions. The Project Manager will also monitor project progress, structure work phases, and ensure timely delivery of milestones. Contributing to the content and organizational development of the degree programme, including cooperation agreements and formal frameworks, is also a key responsibility. The ideal candidate will have a university degree (MA, PhD) in a relevant field, preferably in archaeology or related disciplines. Experience in managing projects, ideally in establishing degree programmes or international projects, is essential. Familiarity with academic structures, diplomatic tact, negotiation skills, and audience-appropriate communication is required. Professional fluency in German and English is a must, with knowledge of Dutch and/or Swedish being an advantage.
