Data Science & Process Modeling Intern

The role is a Data Science & Process Modeling Intern at Johnson & Johnson, a company dedicated to healthcare innovation. Additionally, the role includes modeling and process simulation tasks, supporting projects on distillation and solvent recovery. This involves applying novel process models, performing simulation and optimization studies, and presenting results to scientific and engineering teams. To qualify, candidates must be enrolled in or recently graduated from a Master's program in fields such as Chemical Engineering, Biological Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related fields. Experience with Python-based data analytics and modeling and programming (e.g., Python, MATLAB, R, gPROMS, Aspen Plus, or other relevant software) is required. Candidates should also have a motivated, entrepreneurial approach, good problem-solving skills, and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Nice-to-have skills include proficiency in Python for data analysis. The internship is based in Schaffhausen, Switzerland, and offers a collaborative environment with scientists and engineers.
