Within this environment, the Compliance Assistant role supports the firm's effort to identify and mitigate compliance risks throughout its business operations. In this position you will examine contract clauses and commercial arrangements, flagging any potential compliance issues and drafting professional feedback. You will also evaluate sales initiatives for risks linked to bribery, corruption, conflicts of interest and other critical compliance topics. The job involves assisting with internal audits, pinpointing control weaknesses, and helping to close identified gaps. You will contribute to the creation of training content, case studies and simulation exercises, and aid in delivering awareness sessions. Additionally, you will support the preparation of replies to external queries and help manage incidents that arise, while keeping policy documents and meeting minutes up to date and tracking follow‑up actions. The ideal candidate holds a university degree in law or a closely related discipline, with graduation scheduled for 2025 or 2026. A solid grasp of risk‑management concepts and assessment techniques is required, together with thorough knowledge of anti‑bribery and corruption rules, competition legislation, financial and trade compliance, and third‑party oversight. Strong written and verbal communication, coordination and stakeholder‑management abilities are essential, as is a high level of responsibility, professionalism and execution capability. Fluency at an advanced level in both Swiss German and English is mandatory. The role is based in Switzerland and is open to Swiss citizens, EU nationals or individuals who possess a valid work permit for the country.
