Senior Manufacturing Specialist

As a Senior Manufacturing Specialist at Nestlé, you will be based in the research and development hub in Konolfingen, Switzerland, where science‑based nutrition products, processes and packaging are created and technical support is offered to Nestlé factories around the globe. Your mission is to act as a catalyst for innovation and renovation projects, ensuring that new concepts become competitive products, processes and systems while sustaining factory performance. In this role you will steer manufacturing support from early concept stages through to industrialisation, start‑up and launch, providing risk assessments, technical decisions and hands‑on assistance that boost readiness, speed and quality. You will also compile and share specialist knowledge, standards and guidelines to reinforce manufacturing capability across sites, explore breakthrough technologies that open new avenues for productivity, and foster learning through training, coaching and cross‑site networks. Success requires deep expertise in manufacturing, engineering or product development, together with a solid grasp of current quality, safety and hygiene standards. You must be adept at data analysis, digital tools and structured problem‑solving to spot risks and enhance performance, and you should be comfortable collaborating across functions, locations and cultures while presenting technical recommendations clearly.
