Portfolio Manager – Multi Asset Team

The Portfolio Manager, Multi‑Asset Team role sits within Bank J. Safra Sarasin, a leading sustainable private bank that delivers tailored investment advisory and asset‑management services to private and institutional clients worldwide. In this position you will translate investment decisions into action, adhering to the specific guidelines of funds and mandates. You will also help shape the investment process by developing tools, generating signals and conducting intra‑ and cross‑asset analysis. Supporting the front office, you will take part in marketing and sales activities such as preparing reports, creating marketing material, drafting investment proposals and responding to RfPs. Continuous improvement of the team's operational workflows is also a key focus. The ideal candidate holds a master's degree with a financial or quantitative emphasis and brings at least two years of relevant experience. A deep affinity for IT is required, demonstrated by solid coding abilities in Python and VBA. Fluency in English is essential, while strong interpersonal skills, a hands‑on mindset, and high integrity are expected. You must be able to prioritize problems, recognise synergies, work independently and stay effective under pressure, complemented by excellent communication, presentation and organisational capabilities.
